Cherie is a professional, double degree-qualified acupuncturist and Chinese medicinal herbalist, holding a six year Bachelor of Health Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies degree from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Cherie graduated with high distinctions and earned the Dean’s award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, and was elected to become a member of the exclusive premier Golden Key International Honours Society for academic excellence.

Cherie has dedicated 10 years of study and practice to the field of health and Chinese Medicine. Cherie has been the Co-founder Director and President of two not-for-profit societies called the Wu Wei Chinese Medicine Society and Tai Yi Chinese Medicine Society dedicated to improving the health of the most vulnerable members of society. Cherie has organised, campaigned, lead, and volunteered her Chinese Medicine expertise for several humanitarian causes.
Cherie also has a strong passion for health and fitness she holds a 2nd degree black belt in martial arts and commonly treats sporting injuries, musculoskeletal pain, and neurological conditions.
Cherie is a fully accredited member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), the peak professional association for Chinese medicine practitioners in Australia.
